Justin Timberlake DWI Arrest takes a funny turn

Following Justin Timberlake DWI arrest, followers have been sharing hilarious memes about him drinking on social media.

On June 18, Justin Timberlake was taken into custody in the Hamptons for driving while intoxicated (DWI) following his failure to pass a field sobriety test.

Despite allegedly swerving between lanes and missing a stop sign, Timberlake admitted to the arresting officer that he had only had “one martini.”

“Ruin the tour,” he muttered under his breath, adding that his arrest will. The “Forget Tomorrow” globe tour that Timberlake is talking about will kick off in Chicago, Illinois on June 21.

But the officer, not knowing that he had just pulled up one of the most well-known pop musicians in the world, questioned him, “What tour?” in disbelief.

Fans of Timberlake have been trolling him with memes of himself on TikTok and other social media platforms while he waits for his July 26 court appearance.

Memes that include Timberlake dancing are typically written from the perspective of an officer, with the caption reading, “Sir, I need you to walk in a straight line for me.”

In another viral meme trolling his DWI arrest, netizens used the *NSYNC lyrics, “It’s gonna be me,” after asking who would be the designated driver for the night.

Timberlake’s face then appears on the screen while he sings the song’s lyrics.

Fans of Timberlake have stated that they continue to support him in spite of his incarceration. One admirer wrote, “I still love him,” in the comments section of another popular meme that featured him dancing inside a jail cell with the text overlay stating, “Justin putting on a show for all the other inmates.”

Someone else agreed, “They could never make me hate you.”

Even though the rapper’s face was absent from many of the viral posters, Kendrick Lamar’s song effectively conveyed the idea that he’s simply “not like us.”

Though he spoke out about his DWI, Timberlake has not addressed his arrest being turned into a viral meme.
